Pennsylvania Used Honda Cars

Used Honda vehicles have earned an excellent reputation in the US as reliable and affordable cars. Consumers tend to feel that at Honda, quality is a priority. Yet, consumer popularity has more to do with the driving experience, and the owning experience. When people are happy in this realm, when positive reviews are almost always written, then you know you have a good used car. Used Honda cars are often known for being a great design, better-than-most fuel economy, priority on safety, and a friendly aura. Much has evolved since the first Honda motorbike was made, and used Hondas now include hybrids, minivans, sedans, SUVs and a pickup. One of Honda’s most well known models is the Accord sedan.

For 2007, Honda introduces a V-6 Special Edition trim level that includes 17-inch alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, steering wheel audio controls, a six-disc CD changer and an alarm system. Honda says the 2007 chassis is tuned for a sportier, more European feel by using larger, more performance-oriented tires: 15-inchers for DX and LX sedans and 16-inchers for EX and V-6 models. All models seat up to five occupants and feature a relatively high belt line. A sliding center armrest is standard, and the driver faces a large round speedometer. Antilock brakes, dual-stage front airbags and rear head restraints for all seating positions are standard. Vehicle stability assist, brake assist, daytime running lights, and side-impact and side curtain airbags are standard in all Accords. The solid, quiet, refined Accord makes a fine family sedan. Any Accord model is exceptionally pleasant in virtually every respect, but the sedan trails a bit in the ride comfort category. Used Hondas are a gem to be found, and there are plenty of them. Whether a sedan, minivan, or SUV Pennsylvania used Hondas are great values.

Honda Motor Company began in 1948 in Japan. Soichiro started his company with motorbikes, as citizens of Japan were looking for a cheap, fuel friendly transportation. Honda's bikes soon stepped up from the original small engine bike. The 1949 D-Type could reach speeds of up to 50 mph, and had rear suspension. Honda then released the Juno scooter, which was built to share the similar market as a Vespa. Honda built its first automobiles for the Japanese in the 1960s. The United States was introduced to Honda in 1970, with the N600. With the production of the 1973 Civic, the way American thought about Honda was changed. The Civic's fuel efficiency and affordability made the biggest impact.

By 1976, the Accord was also accepted as a worthy vehicle, and it became a favorite among consumers. Honda’s population and reputation grow in the 1980’s. The Accord was hailed as the US most popular car by 1989. Honda expanded into more luxury vehicle with a new line under the brand name of Acura. From the 90’s until present day Honda continues to offer new technologies and designs, including VTEC variable valve timing, aluminum body construction, improved safety features and gasoline/electric hybrid powertrains.
